windfall

When  I get a small windfall, that helps out my budget or puts me closer to purchasing/doing something that’s on my wish list.

For example, I was recently given a gift card. Now, don’t let anyone tell you gift cards aren’t the best present. Sure something you’ve picked out with love is great but if you have a friend who is saving toward something (or paying off debt), a $20 supermarket voucher might either let them buy themselves a treat or put them $20 closer to their dream. That’s pretty damn priceless too.

Small windfalls are great – they go straight into savings, off the debt or on an item that’s been on my wish list for a while. #happyday

A windfall, no matter the size, brings me closer to my goal.
