don’t forget bills

I had a bill slip up recently. The bill was in my budget spreadsheet, I was on the look out for it in my email … thing is, it had already arrived and I just overlooked that and instead of simply paying the standard amount around the due date I kept waiting.

So, it gets closer to the end of the month and I finally do a search of the inbox and there’s the bill. Usual amount. Usual time. I roll my eyes at myself and pay it.

Then, the very next week the next month’s bill arrives – with a $15 late fee. #ffs

I just cost myself $15.
